Investment companies in Israel – an investment company in Israel

2020, in spite of the Corona pandemic and the global economic turndown, saw Israeli companies raise nearly 10 billion dollars.

In fact investments in Israeli companies in 2020 are up by over 20 percent compared to 2019, a continuation of a steady trend in which the amount of capital pouring into Israeli firms has more than tripled over the past six years.

Top investment deals in Israeli companies include the Series D funding of Appsflyer’s at over 210 million, SentinalOne’s series D 200 million in February, the series E round of Via at 400 million dollars in March,’s200 million dollar round in August, Next Insurance’s September 250 million funding round.

The total number of deals? Over 400 in 2020. Cybersecurity wins pride of place for both funding rounds (86) and total capital (2.5 billion dollars) raised. However, there is plenty of diversity in Israel’s capital investment portfolio with fintech (1.7 billion dollars, 70 rounds), digital healthcare and startups (70 rounds, 800 million dollars) and smart mobility (1.3 billion dollars invested, 49 rounds) not far behind.

These numbers are clear indications that the startup nation is no longer just a rumor – its accepted wisdom in investment circles, and corporations, investment funds and private investors are flocking to find the right investment target for them in the booming Israeli market, trying to get on the ground floor of the most lucrative targets.
